In year 3, to start off our prehistoric art unit, we examined some cave paintings. We thought about how people in that time had no way to travel (other than on foot) so could only draw native animals. We sketched some animals ourselves by lightly marking out the shape of the animal and then adding more detail with a real focus on proportion.
